1. Objective

La presente Norma Oficial Mexicana tiene por objeto establecer la información comercial que deben contener los cueros y pieles curtidas naturales, materiales sintéticos o artificiales con esa apariencia, calzado, marroquinería y los productos elaborados total o parcialmente con dichos materiales, para ser objeto de comercialización dentro del territorio nacional.

This Official Mexican Standard has the objective of establishing the commercial information that hides and naturally cured leathers, synthetic or artificial materials with that appearance, footwear, leather goods and  products prepared totally or partially with said materials must contain in order to be the subject of commercial distribution within the national territory.
