Establecer medidas para prevenir daños a la salud de los trabajadores expuestos a las sustancias químicas contaminantes del medio ambiente laboral, y establecer los límites máximos permisibles de exposición en los centros de trabajo donde se manejen, transporten, procesen o almacenen sustancias químicas que por sus propiedades, niveles de concentración y tiempo de exposición, sean capaces de contaminar el medio ambiente laboral y alterar la salud de los trabajadores.

 

To establish measures for preventing damages to the health of workers exposed to contaminant chemical substances in the work environment, and to establish the maximum permissible limits of exposure in the workplace where chemical substances are handled, transported, processed, or stored that by their properties, levels of concentration, and time of exposure, are capable of contaminating the work environment and altering the health of the workers.
