cancels and replaces NOM-052-
SEMARNAT-1993, Until Sept. 23 you will receive both
NOM's with the purchase of either.
This NOM contains a step by step procedure
for defining a waste as hazardous.

La identificación y definición segura de los
sitios para un confinamiento controlado de residuos
peligrosos previamente estabilizados, tiene como
finalidad proteger el medio ambiente en general,
preservar el equilibrio ecológico y eliminar los efectos
contaminantes que ocasionan estos residuos por la mala
práctica que se emplea en su manejo, en particular, para
su disposición final.

The safe identification and definition of the sites for
a controlled confinement of pre-stabilized hazardous
wastes, has the purpose of protecting the environment in
general, preserve the ecological equilibrium and
eliminate the contaminating effects caused by these
waste for the bad practice employed in their handling,
in particular, for their final disposition. |
