3.1.1 Con objeto de
que las autoridades del trabajo lleven una
estadística nacional de accidentes y enfermedades de
trabajo, los patrones deben dar aviso de los riesgos
realizados a la Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión
Social directamente o a las Delegaciones Federales
del Trabajo o al Inspector del Trabajo o a la Junta
de Conciliación Permanente o a la Junta de
Conciliación y Arbitraje, dentro de las setenta y
dos horas siguientes a su realización en caso de
accidente, o de su detección en caso de enfermedad.

3.1.1 For the purpose
of the labor authorities maintaining National
statistics on accidents and illnesses on the job,
employers must give notice of accidents that have
occurred to the Secretary of Labor and Social
Welfare directly, or to the Federal Departments of
Labor or to the Labor Inspector or to the Council of
Permanent Conciliation or to the Council of
Conciliation and Arbitration, within seventy two
hours following the occurrence in case of an
accident, or of detection in the case of illness.
