DECREE by which is issued the Law of the Tax on Cash Deposits

Nueva Ley publicada en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el 1º de octubre de 2007

New Law published in the Official Daily of the Federation on the 1^st of October of 2007

Nota: Esta Ley entrará en vigor a partir del 1º de julio de 2008.

Note: This Law becomes effective after the 1^st of July of 2008

Que el Honorable Congreso de la Unión, se ha servido dirigirme el siguiente

"EL CONGRESO GENERAL DE LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS, DECRETA:

THE GENERAL CONGRESS OF THE UNITED MEXICAN STATES, DECREES:

SE EXPIDE LA LEY DEL IMPUESTO A LOS DEPÓSITOS EN EFECTIVO.

THE LAW OF THE TAX ON CASH DEPOSITS IS ISSUED.

LEY DEL IMPUESTO A LOS DEPÓSITOS EN EFECTIVO.

LAW OF THE TAX ON CASH DEPOSITS

Artículo 1. Las personas físicas y morales, están obligadas al pago del impuesto establecido en esta Ley respecto de todos los depósitos en efectivo, en moneda nacional o extranjera, que se realicen en cualquier tipo de cuenta que tengan a su nombre en las instituciones del sistema financiero.

Article 1. Individuals and corporations are obligated for the payment of the tax established in this Law with respect to all deposits in cash, in National or foreign currency that they make into any type of account that they have in their name in the institutions of the financial system.
