GENERAL PROVISIONS

Artículo 1o.- Esta Ley regula la educación que imparten el Estado -Federación, entidades federativas y municipios-, sus organismos descentralizados y los particulares con autorización o con reconocimiento de validez oficial de estudios. Es de observancia general en toda la República y las disposiciones que contiene son de orden público e interés social.

Article 1. This Law regulates the education imparted by the State – the Federation, States, and municipalities, its decentralized organisms and the private parties with authorization or with recognition of official validity of studies. It is of general observance in all the Republic and the provisions that it contains are of public order and social interest.
