Dado que la exposición ocupacional durante el uso de las fuentes de radiación ionizante puede constituir un riesgo para la salud, el Reglamento General de Seguridad Radiológica requiere que se practiquen exámenes médicos al personal ocupacionalmente expuesto, como parte del control radiológico operacional.

Given that occupational exposure during the use of the sources of ionizing radiation can constitute a risk to health, the General Regulation of Radiological Safety requires that medical examinations be performed on the occupationally exposed personnel as a part of the operational radiological control.
