NOM-001-SEMARNAT-1996,
THAT ESTABLISHES THE MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE LIMITS OF CONTAMINANTS IN THE DISCHARGES OF WASTEWATERS INTO NATIONAL WATERS AND RESOURCES.

9.3 The following Official Mexican Standards are cancelled:

 NOM-001-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in conventional thermoelectric centers.

 NOM-002-ECOL0193, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the sugar cane producing industry.

 NOM-003-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the petroleum and petrochemical refining industry.

 NOM-004-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the fertilizers manufacturing industry except that which produces phosphoric acid as an intermediate product.

 NOM-005-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the plastic and synthetic polymer products industries.

 NOM-006-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the manufacturing of milled grains industry.

 NOM-007-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the beer and malt industry.

 NOM-024-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the manufacturing industry of paper from virgin cellulose.

 NOM-025-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the manufacturing industry of paper from recycled cellulose fiber.

 NOM-026-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating from restaurants or hotels.

 NOM-027-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the industry of coffee utilization.

 NOM-028-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the industry of preparation and canning of fish and seafood, and of the industry of production of fish meal and fish oil.

 NOM-029-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in hospitals.

 NOM-030-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the industry of soaps and detergents.

 NOM-032-ECOL-1993, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters of urban or municipal origin for their disposal through agricultural irrigation.

 NOM-033-ECOL-1993 that establishes bacteriological conditions for the use of wastewater of urban or municipal origin of the mixture of those with those of the bodies of water, in the irrigation of edible plants and fruit and vegetable products. Published in the Official Daily of the Federation on the 18th of October, 1993.

The nomenclature of the Official Mexican Standards previously cited is under the terms of the Agreement by with the nomenclature of 58 Official Mexican Standards is reformed in the area of Environmental Protection, published in the Official Daily of the Federation on the 29th of November of 1994.

Additionally, the following Official Mexican Standards are cancelled:

 NOM-063-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the wine producing industry.

 NOM-064-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the distilling industry.

 NOM-065-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the industries of pigments and colorants.

 NOM-066-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the electroplating industry.

 NOM-067-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the sewer systems or municipal draining.

 NOM-068-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters recipient bodies, originating in the industry of edible oils and greases of animal and vegetable origin, published in the Official Daily of the Federation on the 5th of January of 1995.

 NOM-069-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the industry of electrical and electronic components.

 NOM-070-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the industry of preparation, and preservation, and canning of fresh and/or frozen fruits, vegetables, and legumes, published in the Official Daily of the Federation on the 9th of January of 1995.

 NOM-071-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the industry of inorganic chemical products.

 NOM-072-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the industries of fertilizers containing phosphates, phosphates, polyphosphates, phosphoric acid, inorganic chemical products containing phosphates, excepting the manufacturers of phosphoric acid by the humidity process.

 NOM-073-ECOL-1994, that establishes the maximum permissible limits of contaminants in the discharges of wastewaters to recipient bodies, originating in the pharmaceutical and pharmochemical industries, published in the Official Daily of the Federation on the 11th of January of 1995.
