Esta Norma Oficial Mexicana establece las características y dimensiones de los carteles que deben portar las unidades vehiculares, camiones, unidades de arrastre, autotanques, carrotanques, contenedores, contenedores cisterna, tanques portátiles y recipientes intermedios para granel y demás unidades de autotransporte y ferrocarril, a fin de identificar la clase de riesgo de las substancias, materiales o residuos peligrosos que se transportan.

 

This Official Mexican Standard (NOM) establishes the characteristics and dimensions of the signs that the vehicular units, trucks, semi trailers, tankers, containers, liquid containers, portable tanks and  intermediate containers for small sales and other units of auto and rail transport, for the purpose of identifying the class of risk of the substances, materials or hazardous wastes that are transported.

Esta Norma Oficial Mexicana es de observancia obligatoria para los expedidores, transportistas y destinatarios de las substancias, materiales y residuos peligrosos que transitan por las vías generales de comunicación terrestre, marítima y aérea.

 

 

This Official Mexican Standard is of obligatory observance for the expeditors, transporters and receivers of the substances, hazardous materials and wastes that are moved by the general routes of land, sea, and air communication.
