NOM    = Norma Oficial Mexicana = Official Mexican Standard
015    = the number of this NOM
SCFI    = Secretaría de Comercio y Fomento Industrial
= Secretary of Commerce and Industrial Promotion
= SECOFI = now the Secretary of Economy
2007    = The year this NOM was published in the DOF

(Published in the Official Daily of the Federation on April 17, 2008 – effective January 15, 2009) This Standard cancels and replaces NOM-015-SCFI-1998, Commercial information – Labeling for toys, published in the Official Daily of the Federation March 5th of 1999.
