Introduction |

Los
plaguicidas son objeto de vigilancia por parte de
diversas autoridades, a fin de garantizar al usuario su
calidad y efectividad y dada su naturaleza tóxica, para
prevenir los riesgos a la salud pública, a la salud
animal y los efectos adversos al medio ambiente. Siendo
el etiquetado una parte importante de dicha vigilancia,
esta norma establece los requisitos que deben cumplirse
para facilitar la labor de autoridades, fabricantes,
distribuidores y usuarios. |

Pesticides are subject to oversight on the part of
several authorities for the purpose of guaranteeing to
the User, their quality and effectiveness and given
their toxic nature, for preventing risks to public
health, to animal health, and the environment. Being
that the labeling is an important part of said
oversight, this Standard establishes the requirements
that manufacturers, distributors, and users must comply
with for facilitating the labor of authorities. |
