1. Objective and field of application

1.1 La presente Norma Oficial Mexicana tiene por objeto establecer los requisitos de información sanitaria y generales que para la venta y suministro de las pinturas, tintas, barnices, lacas y esmaltes, debe satisfacer el etiquetado de sus envases.

1.1. This Official Mexican Standard has the object of establishing the sanitary and general requirements that the labeling on containers of paints, inks, varnishes, lacquers and enamels must satisfy for their sale and supply.
